I've started working on displaying my Master Replica .45 Scaled Lightsabers.

I'm using Instant Shadowboxes from Michaels. They usually have these on sale and cost between $9-$12. This is the first example of the displays for my collection of scaled lightsabers.

My plan is to displays both the regular and chase versions of the lightsaber used by the character in each episode of the movie. In this case, the display has the Darth Vader lightsaber as it appeared in The Empire Strikes Back. The Darth Vader figure is from the Hallmark Star Wars Ornament series. The original movie poster will also be displayed as well as a Certificate of Authenticity for the lightsabers from Master Replicas.

First two displays are "On the Wall" (kinda like movies being "In the Can")...

This is the Ep3/Ep4 Obi-Wan and Ep1/Ep2 Anakin sabers.

OK, I've made some changes to the displays..

Using clear rubber bands, I attached the sabers to their based using the slots found in the vertical stands. Pretty straight forward there. Then using automotive double sided tape, I attached the saber bases to the mirror.

I have also put foam board on the backside of the mini posters and MR certification. This gives it a raised appearance which looks much better.

I still need to attach the Hallmark figures. I will most likely use hot melt glue for that. I'm not sure how I will attach the mirrors to the back of the boxes. They have some weight on them and will most likely need a solid attachment.

This is the next example that I'm working on. This uses a larger version of the Instant Shadowbox from Michaels. This shadowbox measures 12"H x 16"W x 2.5"D.

Here you see the mini sabers for Obi-Wan Kenobi as seen in the movies "Episode IV: A New Hope" and "Episode III: Revenge of the Sith". Since Master Replicas made more than two sabers each for these movies, more room is needed to display them.

In "Episode IV: A New Hope", MR made(three sabers in front) the regular(not shown), chase, weathered, and "As First Built" versions of Obi-Wans sabers.

Again, the figures are from the Hallmark Star Wars Ornament Series.
