Got a Larbel Qui-Gon Jinn saber that was converted to Luxeon III and Ultra Sound 1.1... Had some shorting issues so I totally rewired it.

I've decided to completely gut my Qui-Gon Jinn and install a new Ultrasound 2.1.

As you can see, I've already done a lot.

One problem that requires attention is the screw-in blade holder. That is going bye bye because it twists the leads from the soundboard and causes other issue. The blade holder will now be held in place with set screws.

I have completed building the new soundcard chassis.

I will be using a magnetic reed switch on this project as well (like the recent Obi-Wan).

I also modified the blade holder so you do NOT screw it into the saber body. It is held into place with 2 6/32 set screws now. No twisting of the wires and such anymore.
